Secretary of State John Kerry has a simple solution for dealing with Islamic jihadist terrorism. At a press conference in Bangladesh, Kerry said the news media "would do us all a service if they didn't cover it quite as much. People wouldn't know what's going on."

Facing stiff opposition, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., kept his chances alive for re-election by winning the Republican primary. He still faces a serious general election contest. In Florida primaries, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., won handily, as did Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., who recently resigned under pressure as head of the Democratic National Committee.

Call it the Taxpayers' Lobby. The Washington Free Beacon reports that more than 30 organizations representing millions of taxpayers have formed a coalition to oppose wasteful spending in a lame duck session of Congress later this year.
