With fears rising about the potential spread of the Ebola outbreak in the U.S. from an infected visitor from Africa, does President Obama really believe this is an ideal time to fire up immigration activists who want to allow more foreigners into the country? But that's what he did in a fiery speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in Washington.

Heading into mid-term elections in less than five weeks, congressional approval has fallen to single digits. Only seven percent of likely voters approve of the way Congress is doing its job, according to a new AP-GfK poll. But the results show neither Republicans nor Democrats hold a clear advantage in the election.
