Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was quick to denounce Donald Trump's proposal to erect a wall on the Mexican border, and now he's feeling the heat for building a large wall on his $20 million, 700-acre property in Hawaii. He's not reacting with a happy face.

In a joint campaign appearance, Hillary Clinton said of Elizabeth Warren: "I do just love to see how she gets under Donald Trump's thin skin." No big deal. Anyone can easily get under Trump's skin.

One of the most outrageous findings of the House Benghazi Committee was that U.S. Marines ready to respond to the 2012 terrorist attack on the Libyan diplomatic post wasted three hours changing from uniforms to civilian clothes four times on orders to be "politically correct." Four Americans died as a result.

Conservative columnist George Will is leaving the Republican party, but the GOP still has Bo Derek, LL Cool J and Larry the Cable Guy.

President Obama raised money for Democratic  causes in California and Seattle, Wash., during a three-day trip to the West Coast. For his weekend of politicking he traveled in Air Force One at $206,000 an hour.

CalTexit? The British vote to sever ties wih the European Union has invigorated secession movements in California and Texas. Some cynics believe America might be better off without those two states anyway.

The Clintons have a new grandson. He has his grandfather's smile and, unfortunately, his grandmother's laugh.

"Our most effective response to terror is compassion, unity and love." - Attorney General Loretta Lynch. So much for "blood, sweat and tears."

Donald Trump put aside name-calling long enough to say, "I think we win on issues and policy." And money, if he can raise enough.

Political winds are blowing. Obama administration reverses politically-motivated decision to doctor transcripts of Orlando killer's phone calls to remove references to Islamic jihadist terrorism. Slipping behind in the polls, Donald Trump fires his campaign manager, Corey Lewindowski.

"It takes a humorist to figure out what the FBI needs to defeat ISIS in America. The FBI is understaffed and needs an affiliate partner. I call it Budinski Inc. Budinski hires nosey neighbors and gets them out of your neighborhood and into neighborhoods with predominantly Middle Eastern families." - Rose A. Valenta

GMMB Inc., a powerful Democratic media consulting firm that is working for Hillary Clinton's campaign for president, received $14 million worth of contracts awarded this year by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Washington Free Beacon reports.

Bernie Sanders says he's still an "active candidate" for president.  Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., is said to be changing his mind about not running for re-election. Is anyone surprised?

For years Secretary of State John Kerry has insisted that climate change is the biggest global threat of our time. Guess what? He's changed his mind. He now says the threat of terrorism around the world is bigger.

Who're you gonna believe?
President Obama paints a rosy picture of the U.S. fight against radical Islamic terrorism (he shuns that term, referring to it as "ISIL.") But Director John Brennan said in Senate committee testimony "despite all our progress against ISIL on the battlefield and in the financial realm, our efforts have not reduced the group's terrorism capability and global reach."

A former mayor of New York got tough on what people could eat and drink. In contrast, the current administration is relaxing the rules on other human activities. Mayor Bill de Blasio has signed a law limiting the punishment for such offenses as littering, public drinking and public urination.

Vice President Joe Biden spiced up a "United State of Women" summit in Washington when he said that during Senate debate on the Violence Against Women Act, "I said if a woman in this audience got up, stripped down, stark naked, and walked over to the United States Capitol, she has a right ... but no man ... has a right to touch her."

Taxpayers face another hit under a new Obama administration proposal that would ease the process for student loan forgiveness. It is estimated to cost up to $42 billion over the next decade.

A headline writer took some liberties and had some fun with a tweet by Hillary Clinton related to the Orlando terrorist killer. "If the FBI is watching you for suspected terrorist links, you shouldn't be able to just go buy a gun..." she tweeted. A story on mediaite.com was headed: "Hillary Clinton: Those Under FBI Investigation Should Be Presumed Guilty."

Some will be more privileged than others at the Republican convention in Cleveland ... if you're accustomed to "happy hour." An official said alcohol will not be sold inside the arena, but "very high-level officials" (the GOP congressional leadership and some donors) in "hospitality areas" will not go thirsty.

Having just received a strong endorsement from President Obama for her run for the White House, the presumptive Democratic nominee felt compelled to distance herself from her No. 1 fan after the Orlando mass murders. Obama steadfastly refuses to apply the term "radical Islamist" to ISIS and other Jihadist terrorists. But Clinton, challenged by her opponent, Donald Trump, readily said she's comfortable saying the U.S. is battling "radical Islamism."
