Instead, the Wall Street Journal reports, the Obama administration sent Iran $400 million in cash (Swiss francs and other currencies) in a secret airlift. That same day Iran released four Americans they had been holding prisoner. Iranian news media called it ransom money. The White House issued a denial.

Barack Obama, a freshman U.S. senator ill-prepared to become president in 2008, is now calling successful businessman Donald Trump "unfit" to hold the office. Neither Obama nor Hillary Clinton, who seeks to continue the Democratic administration's failed policies, can hold claim to any prior executive experience.

Obama is calling for Republicans to withdraw support for Trump and the GOP nominee is helping to carry out that plan by alienating the House Speaker, Paul Ryan, and two Republicans up for re-election: Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H. Trump (or any Republican president) would need to retain the GOP Senate majority to get anything done in Congress.
