The staffer was suspicious that a Democrat congressman would want to get close to the president in this election year.

Bureau of Land Management employees used government charge cards to buy $799,000 worth of gift cards for themselves. A BLM inspector general's report said requested supporting documentation from staff was "missing", but auditors traced $70,000 of the undocumented expenditures to an Idaho employee who bought personal items and gift cards totaling $41,276.

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., is too young to run for president, says his colleague Lindsey Graham, but the South Carolina Republican told the Weekly Standard, "I may just jump in." Graham said of Rubio, "we don't need another young guy not quite ready." Graham is 59, Rubio is 43, John F. Kennedy's age when he was elected president.
